About the Contest
The Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting citizens—especially the youth—to participate in a Video Contest on Victim-Centric New Criminal Laws (NCL). This initiative aims to raise awareness and understanding of recent legislative reforms in India’s criminal justice system.
The contest focuses on the following New Criminal Laws enacted in 2023:
- Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
- Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
- Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023
Participants are encouraged to create informative and engaging videos that explain the laws from a victim-centric perspective, highlighting how these reforms aim to protect citizens and ensure justice.

Video Contest on Victim-Centric New Criminal Laws
The goal is to educate the public, especially young citizens, about the rights of victims under these new laws and promote awareness about their legal remedies.

- Duration: 2 to 5 minutes
- Format: MP4
- Language: Hindi, English, or any regional language
- Submission: Share your video via a publicly accessible YouTube link or Google Drive link
How to Participate
- Create an original video focusing on the Victim-Centric New Criminal Laws.
- Ensure your video meets the duration, format, and language specifications.
