Intercept MUN 3.0 – Apply Now for November 2025 Opportunity

About the Organization

The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow, is a premier hub for academic excellence and applied learning in justice, investigation, and policy-related fields. Established to integrate education with real-world challenges, the institute emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary approaches.

In its continuing tradition of fostering dialogue, leadership, and international cooperation, the institute is hosting Intercept Model United Nations (MUN) 3.0, scheduled for 1–2 November 2025. This flagship event promises a dynamic platform where students, academicians, and young professionals can engage in global debates, policymaking exercises, and historic crisis simulations.

The highlight of Intercept MUN 3.0 lies in its theme: “Through the lens of vintage newspapers.” This creative concept encourages participants to revisit the power of storytelling and historical context—reminding us that every headline, whether in 1971, 1992, or 2025, shapes our present and future. Delegates will tackle global issues with rigor, creativity, and diplomacy, gaining skills that extend far beyond the conference floor.

For those passionate about law, international relations, journalism, diplomacy, and governance, Intercept MUN 3.0 is more than a conference—it’s a transformational learning experience.

About the Opportunity

Intercept MUN 3.0 offers students a chance to participate in simulated UN and historic committees where they negotiate, draft resolutions, and debate some of the most critical challenges humanity has faced.

Delegates can choose from:

  • Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC): Addressing the global tariff crisis and its impact on inequality.
  • Historic Lok Sabha (1992): Debating the Babri Masjid demolition and the constitutional tensions it sparked.
  • Historic War Cabinet (1971): Navigating Indo-Pak tensions during the Bangladesh Liberation crisis.
  • International Press Corps (IPC): Journalism and photography simulations, capturing history as it unfolds.

Beyond committee sessions, participants gain exposure to networking, public speaking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Awards, merit certificates, and cash prizes further encourage excellence.
